Cast iron (DI \/ CI)<br \/>&#8211; Steel (St.)<br \/>&#8211; Asbestos Cement (AC)<br \/>&#8211; PE coated steel<br \/>&#8211; PE*<br \/>&#8211; PVC*<br \/>&#8211; GRP*<br \/><em>* If pipe repair clamps are to be used on plastic pipes, please always contact Romacon or a Romacon distributor for more information regarding the application and restrictions on these pipe types.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.17.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<strong>Romacon repair clamps should be used under following conditions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For PVC pipes, the width of the clamps should be 50 % longer and bolt torque should be reduced by 50 %. We prefer that you consult your Romacon distributor.<\/li>\n<li>The maximum allowable distance between two pipe ends should not exceed 10 mm.<\/li>\n<li>The maximum allowable de\ufb02ection is 2 degrees.<\/li>\n<li>The maximum allowable offset should not exceed 3 mm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>RSO clamps are available in several different working ranges from 19-23 to 60-64 Available lengths: 75, 100 and 150 mm.[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243; custom_padding=&#8221;|||&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; custom_padding__hover=&#8221;|||&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<strong>Material speci\ufb01cation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All metal parts: stainless steel AISI 304.<\/li>\n<li>Metal parts have been deburred and are passivated to restore the corrosion resistance to its original state after the welding process. Single band (one section) with a workingrange of max. 4 mm. For an overview of all working ranges please see our price-list. <\/li>\n<li>Standard certi\ufb01ed rubber gaskets EPDM or NBR. The rubber is tapered and has a waffle pattern. <\/li>\n<li>Seamless rubber lining for every clamp diameter.<\/li>\n<li>Bridge plates are vulcanized into the rubber gasket.<\/li>\n<li>U-shaped lifter bar.<\/li>\n<li>Stainless steel, electrolytic zinc plated nuts to prevent galling. Stainless steel washers.<\/li>\n<li>No loose parts that may get lost during installation. <\/li>\n<li>No special tools required: a simple wrench will do the job.<\/li>\n<li>Special tape is used to \ufb01x the rubber gasket to the stainless steel band.
